Derrick Bell honored posthumously with the AALS Triennial Award for Lifetime Service to Legal Education

Professor Derrick Bell has been honored posthumously with the Triennial Award for Lifetime Service to Legal Education and the Law by the Association of American Law Schools.  This award, presented every three years, recognizes a faculty member of an AALS Member Law School for a lifetime of contributions to legal education and the law. The Triennial Award’s inaugural honoree was Frederick I. and Grace A. Stokes Professor of Law Norman Dorsen in 2007. Read the official announcement of Bell's award here.
