Eligibility and Requirements

Students

  • Around 40 students on average over the past four years
  • Average age: 25-28
  • Since inception, students received their first law degree in 41 countries
  • 43% out of law school 1.5 or more years

Tuition and Scholarships

2012-13 Tuition

  • US $50,050* includes tuition for coursework for both LL.M. degrees, as well as the optional seminar at NYU’s main campus to qualify for the New York Bar Exam
  • 2012-13 Student Expense Budget

Merit Scholarships

  • Singapura Scholarships (full tuition and reasonable living expenses)
  • David Marshall Scholarships (full tuition)
  • NYU@NUS Deans' Graduate Awards (partial tuition)

Schedule

10 to 12 months to earn both degrees, plus optional summer program in New York

Summer Semester (May to July 2013)
Singapore

  • Intensive classes taught by NYU professors

Semester 1 (August to early December)
Singapore

  • Courses taught by NUS professors
  • Intensive classes by NYU global visiting faculty

Winter Term (December)
Singapore

  • Intensive classes taught by NYU professors

Semester 2 (January to early May 2014)
Singapore and Shanghai Option

  • Classes taught by NUS professors in Singapore
  • Option to take 3 to 5 intensive classes taught  by NUS faculty in Shanghai
  • NYU@NUS Graduation Exercises

New York Options (May to July 2014)
