Students enrolling in NYU@NUS will spend ten to twelve months of study in Singapore, beginning in May and ending in February or April, during which they will work towards an LL.M. in Global Business Law from NYU, in all respects substantively equivalent to the LL.M. degree awarded in New York City. Concurrently, and through an integrated curriculum, students also study towards an NUS LL.M. degree. Students completing the dual degree program will therefore graduate with two distinct LL.M. degrees. Students will also have the opportunity to undertake an internship in a law firm, corporation, government entity, or NGO in the region. This may be undertaken part-time during the semester, during holidays, or at the end of the program. Students will also be offered the opportunity to enrol in courses taught in Shanghai available through a joint program of NUS and East China University of Politics and Law (subject to Chinese immigration approval), in the period January-May or parts thereof.
