This is with regards to the tuition and other fees charges to an NYU@NUS student. All tuition and other fees are billed via the NYU system (ALBERT) and only health insurance charges are billed via the NUS system (myISIS).

Please refer to the following for more details:

Tuition and Other Fees (NYU System – ALBERT)

You may wish to view your e-bill at: http://www.nyu.edu/bursar/ebill/ Please note that your e-bill is updated in cycles and may not reflect your payment made until the next cycle.

For real-time viewing of your bill and payment, please check your student account at ALBERT.

Refer to billing schedule and deadline at: http://www.nyu.edu/bursar/your.account/billing09/billing.schedule.law.html  & http://www.nyu.edu/bursar/payment.info/dates.html For NYU@NUS students:

i)              First billing cycle (Summer term)  is scheduled on April 24 2012 and due on May 31 2012

ii)             The next billing cycle (Fall/Spring term) is scheduled on July 27 2012  and due on September 19 2012

The NYU@NUS estimated expenses is found at: http://www.law.nyu.edu/financialaid/nyunus/index.htm

The payment charges for the first billing cycle (Summer term) is found here: http://www.nyu.edu/bursar/tuition.fees/summer12/summer.tuitionlwsumUS12.html
The payment charges for the next billing cycle (Fall/Spring term) is found here:
www.nyu.edu/bursar/tuition.fees/rate12/lawsing.html

Note: The tuition fee is NOT divided into two equal parts. The tuition fee in the second bill is always slightly more than the first. This is due to the fact that our programme starts three months before the new academic year, and when NYU bills our students at the start of the summer term, the revised tuition fee for the new academic year would not have been finalized in time for NYU to bill our students 50% of the new tuition fee.

So for the summer term bill, the amount of the tuition fee is the amount from the previous term. When NYU bills our students at the start of the Fall term, the second tuition fee will be higher as it will include the new revised tuition fee for the new academic year.

iii)              The students’ scholarships or the NYU@NUS Deans’ awards will be divided into two equal amounts and will be offset equally on both billing cycles.

iv)             Your tuition deposit of US$500 will be offset in the first billing cycle

If the receipt of your student loan(s) and other financial aid results in a credit balance on your Bursar account, a refund check in your name will automatically be mailed to your local address on file in the Albert student information system. Be sure to keep your personal information up-to-date More information on refunds is found at:  http://www.law.nyu.edu/financialaid/bursarandbilling/refunds/index.htm .

More details on payment modes can be found at: http://www.nyu.edu/bursar/payment.info/ and http://www.law.nyu.edu/financialaid/bursarandbilling/payment/index.htm
