Career Paths

With the assistance of NYU Law’s career services, NYU@NUS students begin their private sector job search as soon as they arrive on campus. Whether looking for a position in Asia or globally, students are offered individual career counseling, resume and cover letter advice, networking events, practice interviewing sessions, and other employment resources. The Office of Career Services also organizes an annual job fair solely for students in the dual-degree program, which attracts major global legal employers, such as: Allen & Overy, Chiomenti Studio Legale, DLA Piper, Latham & Watkins, Linklaters, Shearman & Sterling, Vinson & Elkins, Skadden Arps, White & Case, and Yeo-Leong & Peh LLC.

NYU@NUS students may also submit their resumes in application for interviews with employers who participate in the International Student Interview Program, and travel to New York for interviews in January if selected by employers.

Recent graduates of the program have moved into positions in Dubai, Shanghai, Singapore, the Philippines, and beyond. Some have gone onto doctoral programs, and others have taken the opportunity to intern with law firms such as: Allen & Overy, Arfat Selvam Alliance LLC, Ashurst LLP, Clifford Chance, DLA Piper, Drew & Napier, Linklaters, Rajah & Tann LLP, Rodyk and Davidson LLP, Stamford Law, White & Case, and Yeo-Leong & Peh LLC.
