Graduate Student Orientation
2009-10 orientation will take place from August 23-25 2009. For those students required to take Introduction to U.S. Law, there will be a mandatory orientation event on Sunday, August 9, 2009.
Orientation is mandatory for all full-time LL.M. students, and strongly encouraged for all part-time LL.M., J.S.D. and Exchange students.

Events
NYC Double Decker Bus Tour for all in-coming LL.M., J.S.D. and Exchange Students
Busses will depart from 40 Washington Square South (Vanderbilt Hall) promptly at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23rd - please arrive early! The bus tour will conclude at Chelea Pier so students may go directly to the "Big Apple Bash". There are a limited number of slots available for this tour - they will be filled on a first come-first serve basis. You must RSVP by Monday, August 17th to guarantee a seat. If you do not RSVP in advance and show up on the day of the tour you will be asked to wait and in the event that seats become available we will do our best to accomodate you, however you will not be guaranteed a seat if you do not RSVP in advance. PILC Continuing Orientation: How To Get Involved in Public Service

Learn how you can become involved in public service by working with pro bono student organizations and about NYU's public interest community, featuring PILC's Student Advisor Program and the Auction. Pizza and soda will be served.

The purpose of this reception is to introduce J.D. & LL.M. students, their spouses/partners and children to NYU School of Law. Children are most welcome. Representatives from various University offices will be on hand with information on graduate student programming at the University; childcare and/or schooling information; English language instruction; and courses at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
