Exam & Paper Writing Sessions for LL.M. Students

The Office of Graduate Affairs is pleased to offer advice to LL.M. students on strategies for taking exams and writing papers.  Interested students can sign up for a 30 minute one-on-one advising session with one of our Advisors to Graduate Students in Exam and Paper Writing Techniques.  The Advisors do not tutor students in particular subject areas, but rather offer general tips on taking exams and writing papers.  If you have found that you are not as familiar as you would like to be with what is expected at a U.S. law school in the areas of exam and paper writing, please consider making use of this service.  Papers will not be read in advance but feel free to bring a paper or writing sample to the session for general comments on writing style.

Advising Hours will begin the week of November 9 and will continue through December 1. The Office of Graduate Affairs will email all students a sign up form. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first serve basis.

Please be aware that these are individual counseling sessions and that appointments are much in demand.  If you are not able to come to your appointment, please let the Office of Graduate Affairs know, so that another student can be scheduled for that time.
