Mercer Street Residence Summer 2013 Rates - for NYU School of Law Students


Mercer Residence is located on the corner of West Third and Mercer Streets. This apartment complex includes several types of units. In addition, residents have access to ground floor and upper terraces, a game room, computer rooms, laundry facilities and a TV room.

All apartments have wall-to-wall carpeting, are centrally air-conditioned, and are furnished with single beds (type A, D and E apartments are furnished with queen beds), chests of drawers, desks, chairs, dining table and chairs, bookshelves, lounge chairs, refrigerator and stove/oven. Bedrooms in Mercer Residence do not have overhead lighting.

Note

  • Rates include local telephone, NYU Cable TV, and utility charges.
  • Online and data capability is provided through ResNet.
  • In all apartments, students must provide lamps, linens, cookware, kitchen utensils, and waste baskets.
  • Halogen lamps and pets are prohibited.
  • There are very few studio and one-bedroom apartments available. Please indicate all choices of accommodations you will accept.
  • Applicants who will not be living with a spouse, significant other, or children may request only a private bedroom in a shared apartment suite or an apartment that is suitable for one person (see suitability notes in the description section).
  • All measurements are approximate and square footage and layouts will vary.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all apartments and facilities (this includes terraces and balconies). Any resident or guest wishing to smoke must exit the building to do so.

E3-M for the 2010-11 academic year:  Two-room apt. with one bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bath (approximately 610 sq. feet).  Suitable for 2 persons (family housing only).   At 610 sq. feet, it is approximately 35 sq. ft. larger than the standard type E one-bedroom.  Due to the increased size, it is priced slightly higher thant the type E3-U.
