Spring 2013 Housing Application
We hope that you will join our academic and residential community this spring and experience the unique advantages New York University School of Law and Greenwich Village have to offer.
We make assignments according to the requests you list in the Accommodation Preference section of the housing application. Please review information on our Web site about the accommodation options and the rates prior to submitting the application and provide us with all acceptable possibilities in order to increase our ability to accommodate you. Priority in the assignment process is given to those applicants who apply by November 12, and notification of assignment begins the week of November 19, and continues weekly thereafter.
Family housing applicants with children should note that larger units will not likely be available and that off campus living arrangements should be considered. We have developed some resources to assist you if you will be seeking an apartment in the private sector, and we will mail this information if we are unable to accommodate your request for Law School housing.
Cancellation Deadline
The cancellation deadline for those applicants applying for, and assigned, spring 2013 housing is December 14, 2012. Those assigned after December 14, 2012, have 48 hours after notification to cancel without penalty. After the applicable cancellation deadlines, as indicated in the 2012-13 Housing License, the licensee is responsible for the full license period. Applicants wishing to cancel must do so by submitting the online cancellation form.
Family Housing Applicants
Family housing applicants must submit a Notarized Affidavit for Family Housing.
License Period
Sunday, January 20 - Wednesday, May 22 at 10 a.m. (10 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, for Spring 2013 graduates)
Move-in Date
The Spring 2013 Housing License begins on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
