Off-Campus Living

The New York University Off-Campus Living is open year-round to all University students. University-run, the office is located in the Student Resource Center, 2nd floor of the Kimmel Center, Room 210.   NYU Off-Campus Living provides assistance to current and newly-admitted NYU students, faculty, and staff who are not eligible for or not interested in NYU student housing, including those with families or non-student roommates who are seeking private off campus apartment rentals.

If you are a New York University student, faculty, or staff member seeking off campus housing, you may access the Off Campus Living database from your NYUHome account. This database contains listings for private (non-NYU affiliated) apartments and can be customized by preferred locations, property types, sizes, and cost ranges.

To conduct a search:

  • Log in to NYUHome .
  • Click on the NYU Life tab in the menu bar above.
  • Click the link to the Housing Registry under the heading "Off-Campus Living" on the lefthand side.

If you have never logged onto NYUHome, go to http://home.nyu.edu and activate your account.
