Audio/Visual
If your event involves outside speakers or panelists, please be sure to ask them far in advance whether they will need any special audio visual equipment for their presentation. This could include an overhead projector, slides, a laptop for powerpoint presentations, etc. Please direct all requests for Audio/Visual setups to James Britt, our Special Events AV Staging Manager - (212) 992-8634 or brittj@exchange.law.nyu.edu
Catering
Make any catering arrangements with the Office of Hospitality and Food Services. The menus are available online and the staff will discuss the options suitable for the type of event you are hosting, the budget for the event, the time of day and year it is being held, and the anticipated number of guests.

Housing for Speakers
The Dean's Office has a limited number of rooms, subject to availablity, that can be used for housing guest speakers for NYU School of Law events. For rates, availability, and other information, please contact Jeffrey Malamy, at (212) 998-6004 or jeffrey.malamy@nyu.edu.
Nametags/Table Tents/Table Numbers
Create nametags for the event if necessary. Be sure to place an order from Staples in sufficient time to have the nametags available. If you need table tents for speakers at a table or panel, please be sure to order those as well. It is the responsibility of the client to create and provide nametags, table tents, and/or table numbers.
Room Setup
Prior to the event, please discuss the set-up with the Office of Hospitality and Food Services at (212) 998-6114 how the room should be configured and whether a podium or tables and water for the speakers are necessary. Depending on the time and location of the event, be sure to consider whether coat check will be available.
Photos
Please contact the NYU Photo Bureau to arrange for a photographer for your event. Please contact them through the NYU Photo Bureau website at http://www.nyu.edu/photobureau/.

8:30pm Second course cleared; dessert and coffee served
8:35pm Introduction of guest speaker
8:40pm Keynote speaker
9:00pm Dinner concludes
