Thus, throughout the academic year the Office of Graduate Affairs and the Law School at large offer a series of workshops and tutoring to assist LLM and Exchange students deal successfully with the academic demands of their program.
Writing Advising Sessions for LLM Students
If you have found that you are not as familiar as you would like to be with what is expected at a US law school in the area of paper writing, please consider making an appointment with our paper writing adviser.
Interested students can sign up for a 20 minute one-on-one advising session. To sign up for a session, please stop by the Office of Graduate Affairs, Furman Hall, Room 340. Sign-ups are a week in advance. The sessions will run from September through November, 2012 for the Fall semester (new dates will be added for the Spring.)
Papers will not be read in advance but feel free to bring a paper or writing sample to the session for comments on writing style and organization.
Tutoring is recommended for students who are doing poorly academically or who have missed a substantial amount of class time because of illness or other personal problems. The Office of Student Affairs provides confidential tutoring services. These sessions are designed to assist students who are experiencing specific difficulties in a particular subject. Please visit the Tutoring Program web page for more information.
Schedules and other important information on examinations can be found on the Office of Academic Services website.
