For LL.M. and Exchange Students
How to Waive Introduction to U.S. Law and U.S. Legal Research, Writing and Analysis I
Students who have previously taken comparable courses and who wish to seek a waiver must complete and submit a Request to Waive Introduction to U.S. Law and U.S. Legal Research, Writing and Analysis I form. Students who have a J.D. degree from a U.S. law school will be automatically waived out of this course. Waiver forms can be submitted as attachments via email to email@example.com. You may not request to waive only one of the two classes.
All waiver requests must be submitted by Friday, July 12, 2013. Requests received after this date will not be considered.
Students with native English language and undergraduate law degrees from common law jurisdictions may wish to consider a waiver. While the course is designed to be useful to all foreign graduate students, many of the course's concepts will be familiar to students trained in common law jurisdictions.
