Bar Exam Information
In recent years, students from more than 60 countries have studied in New York City and in Singapore in completion of LL.M. degrees from New York University School of Law. Between 70 and 80 percent of graduate students received their first law degrees outside the United States, and our foreign master’s students come to the Law School’s Graduate Division from more than 170 law schools.
LL.M. New York
Foreign-trained LL.M. candidates studying in New York City who intend to sit the New York Bar Exam after the successfully completing the degree may locate additional information on the Office of Academic Services Web site.
In September 2009, the New York State Court of Appeals issued an order that allows graduates of the NYU@NUS program (initially the classes of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014) to sit the New York Bar Exam.
