University of Palermo (Argentina)


Up to two NYU Law students may study law at the University of Palermo, located in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, per academic year.

At Palermo, all courses are taught in Spanish, and therefore, complete proficiency in Spanish is required. Students may customize their study abroad program, choosing from a wide variety of courses, including Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law, Civil Law, and Public Interest Law Clinic.

Buenos Aires is considered the most European of all Latin American cities, with wide boulevards, leafy parks and grand buildings. The University of Palermo's main campus is located in the Palermo neighborhood, famous for its squares, gardens and unique shops. Palermo will assist NYU students in securing adequate accommodations off-campus.

The Language Department offers international students the possibility to study Spanish through courses that are divided into different levels, including Spanish as a Second Language, Spanish for Lawyers, and Spanish for Business.
