"To Be A Constitutional Court Judge", A Conversation with Antonio Cassese
- Former President of the ICTY -

Professor of International Law at the University of Florence, Italy, previously Professor of International Law at the University of Pisa and the European University Institute.   Member of the Italian delegation to the UN Commission on Human Rights, Council of Europe Steering Committee on Human Rights, and the Council of Europe Committee Against Torture.   In 2002, Professor Cassese was the recipient of the International Prize granted by the "Academie Universelle des Cultures" presided over by Nobel Peace Prize winner, Elie Wiesel, "for exceptional contribution to the protection of human rights in Europe and the world." Co-founder and Co-editor of the European Journal of International Law, and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of International Criminal Justice, as well as the author of numerous books and articles on international human rights.
