Welcome

The Office of Student Affairs addresses and responds to the quality of life issues that are important to students during their years at New York University School of Law. We are committed to the concept that NYU School of Law is a community that respects its members and celebrates their achievements. We also realize that being a law student is very challenging and, at times, daunting, and want to offer you support and assistance. In addition to the programs listed below, this office also provides academic and non-academic counseling to individual students.

Facilitates student contact with other administrators and faculty
Provides academic and non-academic counseling and assists with referrals to University Counseling Services
Assists with issues of performance enhancement, adjustment concerns, stress reduction, and
other personal matters
Serves as administrative liaison to SBA and other student groups
Helps student groups coordinate activities and secure University funding
Administers Faculty Advisor Program
Administers Tutoring Program
Administers First-Year Mentoring Program
Coordinates the Student International Network Program
Coordinates Orientation and Convocation
Works with students to plan school-wide social events - Fall Ball, Spring Fling
and Barristers' Ball
Publishes Student Handbook and other informational materials
Provides information on Law School Rules and Procedures and mechanisms for redress of problems or concerns
