Current Activities

The Center's current activities include --

The revival of an LL.M. degree program in Labor and Employment Law to foster the development of the next generation of scholars in the field
The 61st Annual Conference on Labor
Publication of an annual volume of research and commentary on legal issues affecting the employment relationship by Kluwer Law International. Kluwer, a major international publisher, plans to distribute the NYU School of Law volume widely in the U.S. and abroad. The Center's first book was published by Kluwer in 1997.
Organization of a monthly Workshop in Labor and Employment Law, bringing leading academic researchers to NYU School of Law to present new work in the field, with annual publication as Papers on Labor and Employment Issues by Kluwer.

Bringing out a newsletter of the Center's activities
