Available only to current students. The critiques (current and prior years) evaluate summer training programs, salary, work load, firm atmosphere, firm policies and job search advice. You can also obtain the names and telephone numbers of third year students who are willing to answer questions about their particular firm. The most recent summer critiques can be found on CSM.

Gross revenues, profits, pro-bono grades, and more for America's highest-grossing firms. To obtain the numbers reported, the American Lawyer calls thousands of partners in an effort to get multiple sources on every single piece of data.
American Lawyer Corporate Scorecard
This publication ranks major law firms according to the number of specialized transactions they have closed. Sections include: Mergers & Acquisitions, Equities by U.S. Corporations, U.S. Equities by Foreign Corporations, IPOs, Investment Grade Debt, High Yield Debt, Asset-Backed Securities, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Project Finance, Municipal Bonds, REITs, Mutual Funds. National Association for Law Placement. Multitude of reports available on what type of jobs recent law graduates obtain, salaries, geographical employment patterns, and how jobs and salaries vary with racial and gender factors.
Web site that allows users to track breaking developments in the law, research issues and cases, attend online continuing legal education seminars, and explore nationwide job openings in the legal industry. On a daily basis, their editorial staff sifts through hundreds of articles in dozens of publications to find the most important and relevant legal information.
Also available in the OCS. A national directory of law firms listed by state, city and alphabetically by firm. Includes information about areas, practice, and biographies of each attorney listed. Also look for "Marhub" on Lexis for on-line searches.
Mid-Level Associate Survey (American Lawyer)
Same as the Summer Associate Survey, except that the questionnaire was given to third- and fourth-year associates.
NALP National Directory of Legal Employers
Also available in the OCS. Includes information on more than 1500 employers nationwide (by state and city).
Launched by the New York Law Journal, this Web site, which is updated daily, contains much valuable news, information, and career advice.
Summer Associate Survey (L Magazine)
Ranks firms' summer associate programs in a variety of areas including training, client contact and feedback. Write-ups of each firm are provided as well. Large firms in all major cities around the country are included.
The Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms
Also available in the OCS. Insider's profiles of over 100 leading law firms. Vault Reports surveyed more than 1,000 lawyers and they provide exclusive prestige rankings, insider's information on pay, perks, working hours, selectivity, firm culture, and much more.
