The Law Alumni Association Fall Lecture

Famed litigator Roberta Kaplan, who represented Edith Windsor in the landmark case that overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, United States v. Windsor, will discuss the Court's recent gay marriage decisions. With Dean Trevor Morrison, Eric M. and Laurie B. Roth Professor of Law, Kaplan will speak about her recent book, Then Comes Marriage. The book chronicles the origins and development of Edith Windsor's case as it rose toward the Supreme Court. Copies of the book will be available for sale at a 20% discount at the event.
