AALS Faculty Recruitment Services

The AALS offers three main services for those interested in finding a job as a law teacher: 1) The Faculty Appointments Register, which is available online and is released to law school recruiters four times during the academic year, is a collection of information about candidates interested in teaching at law schools. 2) The Faculty Recruitment Conference is the annual conference at which law schools interview registrants. 3) The Placement Bulletin is a publication with employment advertising from law schools (and some other academic institutions). It includes both teaching and administrative openings. Six issues per academic year: $85. (The FAR fee includes a subscription to the Placement Bulletin and covers the cost of attending the Faculty Recruitment Conference.)
