Faculty-designed Professional Pathways guide students in a focused area of study and skill development in particular areas of law, the bulk of which they will pursue during their 3L year. Pathways are designed to help students who have developed interest in a particular career area and make them highly competitive in the job market for that field. Professional Pathways offer curricular advice on how to best prepare for a career in the following areas:
- Civil Litigation
- Criminal Practice
- Global Legal Practice
- Intellectual Property and Information Law
- Law and Business
Of course, these are just a few of the practice areas open to our students. We support students who are interested pursuing all kinds of employment after law school, including judicial clerkships and careers in law or accounting firms, corporations, public interest organizations, government or academia.
