Due Dates for Major Writing Assignments
In addition to routine research and writing assignments, Lawyering Professors assign students two major writing assignments during the fall semester, the due dates for which are as follows:
September 8-9: Due date for first draft of WTC Argument due; second draft due 3 days following conference.
November 6: Due date for first draft of office memorandum; second draft due 2 days following conference.
Small Group-Scheduled Events
In addition to or sometimes in lieu of class, students meet with actor-clients or Lawyering Professors in small group conferences of 2 to 5 students. Scheduling of small group events is arranged by either the Program Administrator or individual Lawyering Professors:
September 15-September 25: Small group conferences for WTC Exercise.
October 15-October 27: Small group videotaped client interviews.
October 20-Octber 30: Small group critiques of taped interviews.
November 9-November 13: Small group office memo conferences.
November 17-November 23: Small group counseling sessions.
