Internships and Fellowships

Summer Internships

More than 60 NYU Law students intern abroad every summer in approximately 30 countries.  Most of these receive support through the Public Interest Law Center (PILC) Summer Funding Program, which guarantees funding for all first- and second-year students who want to work in public interest and government positions in the U.S. or abroad. The Office of Career Services helps students secure summer private sector opportunities abroad. Special internship programs include:

• International Law and Human Rights Summer Fellowship

• Center for Constitutional Transitions Summer Fellowship Program

• The Hague Conference on Private International Law Summer

• Ford Foundation Law School Fellowship Program

Post-Graduate Fellowships and Clerkships

All NYU Law graduates are eligible to apply for the following post-graduate fellowships:

• Arthur Helton Post-Graduate Human Rights Fellowship

• International Court of Justice Clerkship Program

LL.M. students may participate in the following fellowships after they graduate:

• International Finance and Development Fellowships

• International Law and Human Rights Student Fellowship program
