Off-Campus Support

New York University School of Law ITS makes it easy for you to stay connected while you are away from your desk.  Whether you are traveling for a conference or on vacation, all that is needed is an Internet connection to access your emails, documents, and any other NYU resources you may need.

Outlook Web Access (OWA)
As long as you have an internet connection, you can use OWA from any computer to access your mailbox items, including emails, calendars, and contacts.  Click here for more information about OWA. If you have a Smartphone that can access the web, please visit the Mobile Devices section for more information.

Citrix
Active Directory users can work on documents stored on the network shares easily from off campus simply by logging into our Citrix website.  If you have already been migrated to Active Directory (AD), please find information on accessing network folders here.

VPN
Some programs require a direct connection to the NYU network. In these cases, a VPN client is used for that connection. Installing and configuring the Cisco VPN Client provides a secure connection to the NYU network. Get the VPN client here.

Examples of programs which require VPN access for off-campus use (this is not a complete list):

  • SPSS
  • SIS
  • Web editing (Stellent)
