INTERNATIONAL

The Big Picture

International legal issues are central to the practice of law, and to the resolution of major global problems in the 21st century. The Law School's international law program provides students with unsurpassed preparation for these ongoing challenges and opportunities. Highly experienced and well-connected faculty involve students in their work on such issues as international commercial law, global climate change, transitional justice, economic development, World Trade Organization disputes, global antitrust litigation, Security Council powers and antiterrorism, among many others. Says Professor Joseph Weiler: “Right now, NYU is the leading institution in the United States, arguably the leading institution in the world of legal academia, in the teaching of international law.”
