Law Women

Law Women is a forum for women's voices at New York University School of Law.
By sponsoring various community service, educational, and social events, the group fosters interaction among women of all backgrounds who are involved in the legal community -- students, faculty, alumnae, and practitioners.

During the upcoming year, Law Women will continue its mentoring program for 1L women, host career and alumni panels, and sponsor lunches with practicing attorneys, professors, and judges. We will also introduce opportunities for law students to volunteer, and we will launch a fundraiser to benefit a women's group in our community. We hope to see you at our events!

Alumnae - Get Involved!

We are always looking for alumnae to be actively involved in Law Women by serving as mentors to current students, speaking at evening panels to share your experiences and give advice about work and life as an attorney, and attending small, group lunches at restaurants in Greenwich Village to speak candidly with students. Please contact our 2010-2011 Alumnae Chairs Heidi or Ilana to get involved.
