Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs is committed to promoting the quality of life at New York University School of Law.
We are a community that respects its members and celebrates their achievements. We also realize that being a law student is very challenging and, at times, daunting. Our responsibilities in part include:
- Counseling students dealing with performance enhancement, adjustment concerns, and stress reduction
- Assisting with other personal or family issues (e.g., illness or bereavement)
- Securing University services where appropriate (e.g., counseling, center for disabilities, and health services)
- Coordinating First-Year Mentoring Program
- Administering Tutoring Program
- Serving as administrative liaison to SBA and other student groups
- Partnering with student groups to plan activities
- Collaborating with other Administrative Offices to serve students
- Planning NYU signature and social events (Orientation, Convocation, Fall Ball, Spring Fling and Barrister's Ball)
- Publishing resources for students (Student Handbook and NYU in a Flash)
