NYU School of Law students have recently claimed honors in an array of prestigious moot court competitions.
- Debbie McElligott ’13 and Justin Roller ’13, coached by Rebecca Welsh ’12, won Best Brief in Vanderbilt University Law School’s National First Amendment Moot Court Competition on February 16-17.
- Chris Hudson ’12 placed as fifth best oralist out of approximately 120 students in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition’s Northeast Regional Round on February 16-19. NYU Law’s Jessup team, including Hari Nathan ’13, Rebekah Soule ’13, and Christel Tham ’14, coached by Julian Arato ’11 (LL.M. ’12), reached the semifinals.
- Kate Dabbert ’13 and Dustin Pangonis ’13 reached the semifinals in William & Mary School of Law’s William B. Spong Moot Court Tournament on February 17-18.
- Abby Belknap ’13 and Eric Merin ’13, coached by Brian Richichi ’12, won Best Overall and Best Brief in Howard University School of Law’s Bryant-Moore Invitational Moot Court Competition on February 24-25.
